Let the Festivities Begin!

posted Aug 4, 2017, 6:54 AM by Rumney Baptist Church

Rumney Old Home Day is an annual celebration in the town of Rumney, NH every second Saturday in August. RBC looks forward to serving the community once again this year. As part of the town's 250th anniversary Rumney Baptist is "kicking it up a notch" by hosting a free pig roast and ham & bean supper starting at 4:30pm, Saturday, August 12. On Sunday, Aug. 13 at 11:00am we will be having a special church service on the town common directly across from the church building. What a fitting location since the church originally started meeting on the town common over 200 years ago! At 12noon (Aug. 13th) RBC will be serving the community again with grilled hot dogs, veggies, chips and more; followed by fun games for the whole family. We hope to see you then!

Awana Club for children age 3 through grade 6 will begin Wednesday, October 5 at 6:00pm. Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is our program for kids that meets on Wednesday from October through May. Each week clubbers sing, play games, and go to counsel time to work at memorizing Bible verses. They do all this to prepare themselves to share God's work and love with those around them. We would love to have your child come join up as we worship God and learn His word. Check out the brief promo video on our Links page.

Wonderful Celebrations of Jesus' Birth

posted Jan 7, 2016, 6:31 AM by Rumney Baptist Church

December was filled with many opportunities to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. On December 20th the Christmas program, UnFrozen was performed to a packed house. The children, teens and adults spent many hours memorizing scripture, skits and music which pointed the way to Jesus. Check out the video on our Links page.

Our traditional Candlelight and Carols Christmas Eve service was a special time together singing carols, reading scripture and lighting candles which symbolize telling others the good news of Jesus' birth.
